FITCHBURG— A woman found dead in the Fitchburg apartment of a man who later killed himself has been identified.
Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. said Tuesday 29-year-old Lauren Bowen, of Leominster, died from a gunshot wound to the head. Her body was found Friday night.
Police sad Ha Yang, who was sought in connection with the shooting, shot himself Saturday after a standoff with police at the Rodeway Inn in Westminster. The 25-year-old man died later that day at a Worcester hospital.
Neighbors described Bowen as Yang’s girlfriend.
