A domestic dispute turned vicious and ended in the tragic death of a 31-year-old pregnant woman on South Main Street Monday night.
Shawntell George, 31, who was over one month pregnant, was pronounced dead at 7:30 a.m. today by Jeff Davis Parish Coroner Dr. Charles Deese. Her boyfriend, Villnon Botley, Jr., 43, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and second-degree feticide (murder of a fetus) after striking George across the head with a metal pole.
