Police have charged a West Akron woman with murder after her estranged husband was stabbed at her home on Sunday.
Police said Patrick O. Wilson, 30, who most recently was living with a relative on Beck Avenue, died after he was stabbed at the home of Taisha Varner, 27, on Auten Drive near White Pond Drive.
Police said the two were separated.
At least one of Varner's three children was at the home during the altercation, authorities said.
The stabbing occurred at about noon. Varner is accused of picking up a knife while the two were fighting, police said.
Wilson was taken to Akron General Medical Center, where he died.
Varner was booked into the Summit County Jail on Sunday and is to appear for an arraignment at 9 this morning in Akron Municipal Court.
The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office has scheduled an autopsy for today.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
