Deputies say a man was shot and killed by a woman's ex-boyfriend as he helped her move out of her home.
Plant City, Florida -- A man has been charged with the murder of another in Plant City.
Deputies say Loenel Marquetti, 50, shot Michael Hurlbutt, 41, of Brandon outside the home of Marquetti's ex-girlfriend, Siglinde M. Sperber,45, at 3601 Joe Sanchez Road.
Marquetti broke up with Sperber two months ago, deputies said, and Hurlbutt went to her home to help her move out some of her belongings. Marquetti walked to the back of the home and shot Hurlbutt several times. He died at the scene, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies took him into custody and recovered a handgun. They said Sperber was not injuried.
Marquetti was charged with First Degree Murder, Armed Burglary with a Firearm, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm.
