A 90-year-old man has been arrested, and police say he killed his 89-year-old wife. It happened at the Amberleigh Retirement Community in Amherst, New York on Sunday morning.
When police arrived they found Virginia Bunz dead in her apartment, and they found her husband, John Bunz, with self-inflicted wounds. He was arrested and taken to the hospital for his injuries.
Police are treating this as a murder and attempted suicide case. They say John confessed to a number of people that he killed his wife.
