RAMSAY, Mich. (AP) - Authorities in the western Upper Peninsula are looking for an armed man they suspect of shooting two men to death because he was jealous they'd been drinking with his girlfriend.
Michigan State Police identify him as 54-year-old Steven J. Dianich of Ramsay. Detective Sgt. David Johnston says Dianich has a .22-caliber pistol.
The suspect is described as white, 5-foot-10-inches tall and about 200 pounds.
According to Johnston, 46-year-old Scott Udd and 52-year-old Jon Lund were drinking and partying at Udd's home early Saturday in Ramsay, about 10 miles north of the Wisconsin state line.
Johnston says the suspect's girlfriend joined the men, then left. The detective says Dianich then arrived and fatally shot the men.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Michigan State police at 906-224-9691.
