A Huntsville man has admitted killing his wife, just as his trial was set to begin.
63 year old Earl Palmer Jr. pled guilty to murder Tuesday morning. Investigators say he killed his wife, Callie, back in 2008. Her body was found next to her car in the parking lot of Custom Chip Connections on Fisher St., where she was a long time employee.
Palmer will be sentenced on August 6th, and faces between 25 years and life in prison.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
