CINCINNATI -- It is a question of life in prison or death Thursday, for a man convicted of killing three people.
Mark Pickens will face a judge for killing his ex-girlfriend Noelle Washington, her young son, and a 3-year-old girl she was babysitting. The deaths happened last summer in the Pendleton neighborhood.
During the trial, prosecutors said Pickens killed his ex-girlfriend because she accused him of rape. Prosecutors said her child, and the 3-year-old that was killed, were at the wrong place at the wrong time.
News 5 will be in the courtroom and bring you the judge's decision.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
