Man shot in Portsmouth condo killed himself, autopsy shows
PORTSMOUTH
A man shot in Admiral’s Landing was killed by a shot to the head in a suicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Lawrence R. Anderson, 36, was pronounced dead shortly after police arrived at Admiral’s Landing, 475 Water St., at 7:20 a.m. on Feb. 11. Anderson and his girlfriend were shot in a fourth floor unit, police said.
The girlfriend, whose name has not been released, was treated and survived.
Police have not made a final determination on how she was shot, a department spokesman said.
Police said the incident occurred during a domestic fight.
