NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. - State police in New York said they have found the body of a Lancaster County woman who disappeared nearly a month ago.
The remains of 27-year-old Kathleen Connolly were found during a search of her boyfriend's home in New Windsor this morning, police said.
Her boyfriend, Timothy Handel, was charged with second-degree murder and sent to the Orange County Prison without bail.
Police did not disclose how Connolly was killed.
Connolly and Handel had moved from New York to West Hempfield Township with their two children in April.
Handel returned to New York with the children after Connolly went missing in early July.
Authorities in Lancaster County planned to discuss the case at an afternoon news conference.
