The suspect in a Hialeah Homicide Wednesday afternoon has been transported to a hospital after being hit by a car.
Jose Antonio Pupo Gonzalez, 37, was attempting to cross the Palmetto Expressway when he was hit in the southbound lane by a minivan.
Hialeah Police were searching for Gonzalez after his companion was found dead inside her apartment.
According to the police, they received information that the Gonzalez had threatened his female companion with killing her and her children. When police arrived at the apartment building at 6565 W Second Court, they found the unidentified woman dead.
The woman's children were found safe, her 13-year-old still at school and the four-year-old at a nearby babysitter's home.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
