Hialeah, FL: Suspect in Hialeah Homicide Hit by Car

According to officers, the suspect threatened to kill her and her children

The suspect in a Hialeah Homicide Wednesday afternoon has been transported to a hospital after being hit by a car.
Jose Antonio Pupo Gonzalez, 37, was attempting to cross the Palmetto Expressway when he was hit in the southbound lane by a minivan.
Hialeah Police were searching for Gonzalez after his companion was found dead inside her apartment.
According to the police, they received information that the Gonzalez had threatened his female companion with killing her and her children. When police arrived at the apartment building at 6565 W Second Court, they found the unidentified woman dead.


The woman's children were found safe, her 13-year-old still at school and the four-year-old at a nearby babysitter's home.
