A Livingston County woman accused of killing her 18-year-old boyfriend with a pair of scissors is scheduled to appear in court this week for a felony hearing.
Krista Kiblin, 20, of Nunda, is charged with second-degree murder in connection with Friday’s death of Joseph P. Garcia. The Arkport man was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, where he died.
Livingston County Sheriff Investigator Kimberly Moran told The Buffalo News today that officials are not releasing many details.
“There was a domestic dispute. In the course of this altercation, she grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed the victim in the chest,” Moran said.
Are law enforcers in Livingston County aware of any earlier disputes involving the couple?
“I can’t get into that right now,” Moran replied.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
