KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — Kenosha police say a 26-year-old woman was shot and killed by her former boyfriend, who later killed himself early Saturday morning in a murder-suicide.
Alaina B. Caudill was being dropped off by her current boyfriend at her residence when Christopher Stuart approached after hiding in the garage.
The 26-year-old Stuart threatened to kill the current boyfriend, who fled and called police. Police say Stuart then shot Caudill in the head. She died Saturday afternoon.
A few hours after the shooting, police found Stuart dead in a bedroom of his home from an apparent self-inflicted gun shot wound. No one else was at the residence and a revolver was found.
Detectives located notes at the scene that appeared to support Stuart's intention to kill himself.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
