HOLMDEL, N.J. (AP/ 1010 WINS) -- Authorities say a couple found dead in a burning New Jersey home were the victims of a murder-suicide.
Monmouth County prosecutors say the woman killed the man and set fire to the Holmdel dwelling before shooting herself on Wednesday. Officials say the man could have been dead for several days.
Officials declined to release their names.
Authorities say one or more accelerants were used to start the fire, which appeared to have started in the back of the house.
