Domestic dispute end in shooting in Ybor
TAMPA, FL - Tampa Police say a by-stander shot and killed a man who was reportedly beating his girlfrield. The incident happened in a parking lot at East 8th Avenue and North 21st Street in Ybor City around 4:00a.m.
They say a man was allegedly beating his girlfriend woman when a citizen tried to stop the fight. Police say that man threatened to shoot the citizen. The citizen pulled out a handgun and shot the other man in the upper torso. He was transported to a local hospital where he died.
Names have not been released and detectives are still investigation. ABC Action News will update the story as more details become available.
