Three people found dead in a north side home Monday died as a result of a murder-suicide, Tucson police said.
Mario Morales Sr., 35, shot and killed his wife, 34-year-old Stephanie Morales, and their 16-year-old son Dario Morales before shooting himself, according to a news release issued by the Tucson Police Department.
Police were called to a home in the 3300 block of North Flowing Wells Road at 5:20 p.m. Monday after a family member found the three people dead, the release said.
Detectives learned Mario and Stephanie Morales had recently separated and were living in separate homes, the release said.
