Kansas City, KS: Woman Charged In KCK Killing Deborah Meeks Faces First-Degree Murder Charge

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Prosecutors have charged a woman for the shooting death of a man in Kansas City, Kan.
Deborah Meeks, 47, has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Wesley Smith on Monday. Police said the shooting happened at a house in the 2900 block of Hutchings Street.
Police said the two had been involved in a relationship.
