Police officials last week released a second photo of a 45-year-old Queens man sought in connection with the December 12 murder of a Long Island City artist.
Investigators are interested in questioning Tigran Tambiev in connection with the murder of Susan Wood, 49, whose body was discovered by friends on the kitchen floor of her second-story walkup at 43-35 10th St.
Tambiev, a furniture mover, had a rocky relationship with Woods that included several domestic violence incidents, police sources said.
Tambiev lived with Woods until recently, and had seen Woods with her new boyfriend shortly before she was stabbed to death.
Tambiev is described as 5-feet, 8-inches tall, 145 pounds, with green eyes and brownish blonde hair. He also has a 2-inch cut under his left eye, police said.
Anyone with information on Tambiev’s whereabouts is urged to call the Crimestoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. The Hotline is offering a $2,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect.

A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
