Crawford County Sheriff Lewis Walker announced Tuesday that the shooting death of a separated couple last week has been ruled a murder-suicide.
According to a news release, Walker said the results of the autopsies performed showed the cause of death for Clinton Sintell Dickey, 32, of 230 Pine Forest Drive in Musella, was from a single gunshot wound. His wife, Shannon Lane Dickey, 23, of 333 Robin Lane in Gordon, died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The couple had been separated for the past several months. According to the news release, Shannon Dickey went to Clinton Dickey’s residence to pick up their child when the two got into a physical altercation under a carport. Deputies recovered a small-caliber handgun at the scene.
