GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Police have arrested a Greensboro man and charged him with murder in the stabbing death of a woman at a motel.
Police were called to the motel in Greensboro on Thursday afternoon to deal with a fight. They found three Greensboro women had been injured.
Twenty-four-year-old Brittany Patrice Turner died from stab wounds at Moses Cone Hospital. Turner's mother and sister were injured.
Forty-nine-year-old Larry Cook is charged with first-degree murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. Cook is being held in the Guilford County jail. It was not clear if he has an attorney.
Police have not determined a motive. But they say the victim was in a relationship with Cook.
