ALLIANCE -- Police here say they have charged a 38-year-old man with aggravated murder in the stabbing death of 23-year-old woman in domestic dispute.
Police say the argument occured at noon today (Monday) in the 200 block of West Patterson Street in Alliance.
Police arrested and charged Todd A. Linville, 38, of 261 W. Patterson Street.
Police identified the victim as Michelle Lawson, 23, of Alliance. Lawson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Stark County Coroner's Office.
Preliminary indications are that she died of multiple stab wounds allegedly inflicted by Linville during a domestic dispute.
Linville was booked into the Stark County Jail and is now awaiting arraignment in Alliance Municipal Court on Wednesday.
The crime is still under investigation by the Alliance Police Department and the Stark County Coroner's Office.
