Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department have arrested a suspect in connection with the stabbing death of Andrea Perry, the 41-year-old single mother of six who was found dead in her own bed Sunday morning. "Kenneth Roger Griffin, 51, walked into the Palmdale sheriff's station about 7:45 p.m. Monday after detectives had been searching for him since Sunday morning, when Andrea Perry's body was found by two of her teenage daughters," reports LA Now.
Soon after the gruesome discovery, investigators expressed interest in speaking with Griffin, who was Perry's boyfriend. Based on information offered by Perry's children, the LASD believed Griffin had been in the family's home after the children had gone to bed Saturday night. Griffin, who arrived at the station with an attorney, said he left the house at around 11 p.m.
Griffin was booked on a murder charge, and has been transferred to the jail in Downtown L.A. where he is being held without bail.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
