The man accused of murdering his wife and then driving around for hours before stopping at a police station will appear in court Friday morning.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in a Terrebonne Parish courtroom on a second-degree murder charge.
According to the Zachary Police Department, Stanley Guidroz, 52, his wife, Pepettra, 47, were on their way to breakfast in Houma last month when they got into a fight and he stabbed her to death.
Guidroz reportedly told detectives he and his wife were having breakfast in Houma around 5:30 a.m. when they got into an argument and she was killed.
Investigators said the suspect showed up at the police station around 12:30 p.m. asking to speak to an officer, telling them, "I just killed my wife."
Her body was found inside a blue Ford Mustang parked on the back lot of the station.
