ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A jury brought back a guilty verdict Friday evening, in the case of a Karl Morgan Hall, 48, of Roseburg, who was accused of assault and strangulation in an ongoing domestic dispute with his wife.
Hall was accused of first degree assault, strangulation and several other charges that were alleged to have happened from September of 2008 through August of 2009.
Hall was accused of burning his wife and strangling her during the assault.
The trial in Judge George Ambrosini's courtroom went on for four days in front of the 12-person jury, and that jury came back with the verdict at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Sentencing will be set for a later date.
