Bail has been set at $10 million for a Des Plaines-area man who allegedly killed his wife by stabbing her multiple times, the Cook County Sheriff's office said today in a press release.
Heriberto Ramirez, 48, of the 400 block of West Touhy, has been charged with first-degree murder after allegedly stabbing 45-year-old Alicia Ramirez multiple times inside their mobile home on Monday.
She was found in the bathroom and pronounced dead at the scene at 10:15 a.m., according to a spokesman for the medical examiner's office. Her death was ruled a homicide.
