EDGEWOOD, Ky. -- The parents of three kids were found dead in their Edgewood home Monday and police said they suspect it was a murder-suicide.
Thomas and Asenath Mastin were found dead Monday morning by police.
The couple has been together for nearly 30 years and have three kids, ages 22, 13 and 8.
Brittany Stewart, the couple's niece said, "My aunt was a very nice person and I don't understand why anybody would want to hurt her."
A neighbor, Adam Seibert, said he witnessed something unusual Sunday night.
"When I was getting home, I saw something strange," Seibert said. "Two cruisers were in their driveway which was strange."
Someone inside the home called 911 early Monday morning.
Edgewood Police said officers went to the home, but didn't find anything suspicious and left.
The police showed up several hours later to find the couple dead.
Autopsies will be performed Tuesday.
