Camden, NJ: Former boyfriend charged in Camden woman's stabbing death

CAMDEN — The 47-year-old former boyfriend of a woman found stabbed to death in her Camden apartment early this morning has been charged with the woman’s death.

Walkeena Moody, 24, was found dead in a bathtub in her home in the Ferry Station Apartments around 3:11 a.m., according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Moody’s former boyfriend, Robert Norwood, was taken into custody later in the morning and is being held at the Camden County Jail, authorities said.

Norwood, of the 800 block of Chelton Avenue, is accused of stabbing Moody in the neck and head, authorities said.

Moody had an active restraining order filed against Norwood since August 28, authorities said.
