CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A 36-year-old Cleveland man was shot and killed early this morning after he chased his girlfriend into a neighbor's house, police said.
Jamelle Swanson was killed shortly after midnight on East 93rd Street between Ansel Road and Morris Court. The neighbor whose house he ran into shot him, police Sgt. Sammy Morris said.
Swanson had a chased his girlfriend into a neighbor's house. The neighbor ordered Swanson to get out of his house. When he did not, the neighbor pulled a gun and shot Swanson multiple times in the legs and chest.
After the shooting, the neighbor ran from the scene and is being sought by police.
Swanson died at the scene.
