Clay County sheriff's deputies investigate at two scenes were men were found dead Thursday night.
ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Clay County deputies investigating a murder-suicide in the Argyle area of Orange Park Thursday night said it appears the gunman shot a man who was dating his estranged wife, then went home and killed himself.
The body of 49-year-old Robert Williams was found in front of a home in the 400 block of Summit Drive just before 8 p.m. Deputies said he was shot several times as he got out of his car.
Deputies said they quickly identified 40-year-old Gregory Hood as a suspect and went to his home on Heather Glen Lane and found Hood dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The two shooting scenes are about eight miles apart.
Hood and his wife were getting a divorce and deputies were told the wife was dating Williams -- a fact that detectives believe was the motive for the slaying.
"There was some jealousy involved," Clay County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Wayne McKinney said.
The victim was on the phone with Hood's wife when he was shot. Williams' roommate called 911 to report the shooting.
"My roommate just got shot outside of my house," the caller told the dispatcher. "I heard about four or five shots ... and that's it."
Friday morning, Williams' family members and roommates were seen cleaning blood off the driveway and sidewalk, but they declined to talk about the shooting.
Hood and his wife had one teenage daughter.
