KINGWOOD -- The Preston County Sheriff's Department is investigating an apparent murder-suicide in the Aurora area. Just after 12:30, Tuesday morning, deputies were called to a home on Schumaker Road. At the home, deputies found three bodies. Deputies say the victims are: Charles Wise, Jr., 50; Kathy Wise, 51 and her mother Imogene Shaffer, 71. The two females were found outside the home, while Wise Jr.'s body was found inside. All three victims appear to have died from gunshot wounds, officials say. There is no evidence to suggest anyone else is involved, deputies say. Deputies have not said who they believe is responsible for the killings. Investigators are waiting on further information on the medical examiner's office. |
