Marion Co. Couple In Court Before Shooting

LEBANON, Ky. -- Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Marion County.

State troopers said they were called to a home in the 2200 block of Danville Highway in response to a shooting at about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday.

When officers arrived, they found the bodies of James Brady, 30, and Cindy Tucker, 28.

Investigators said a gun was recovered at the scene and that the victims appeared to have died from gunshot wounds.

The couple had reportedly been involved in a custody dispute and had been in the Marion County District Court earlier in response to an emergency protective order.

Autopsies are scheduled for Thursday morning in Louisville.
