FREDERICK, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say a man fatally shot his wife and then killed himself at a home in Frederick.
Assistant police chief Joel Neely says 41-year-old Deyone Miller shot 35-year-old Laterria Miller shot multiple times with a 9 mm pistol before he shot himself to death.
Neely says police officers performing a welfare check on the couple found them dead in the bedroom of the residence about 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
He says investigators were told that Deyone Miller had called several family members and told them that he had shot his wife.
Neely says the couple was having marital problems and had separated for a time before Laterria Miller returned.
He says they had four children.
