HOLDEN, LA (WAFB) -
The names of the two people who died in a murder-suicide Wednesday have been released by authorities.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said Michael Richardson, 65, and his wife, Nancy, 67, were found dead in their home by a relative.
Detectives believe the man shot his wife, and then turned the gun on himself.
They are still awaiting the results of the autopsies.
The investigation is ongoing.
The shootings happened at their home on Tickfaw Acres Road in Holden.
Deputies received the 911 call around 9:15 a.m.
Family members told officials they had visited the couple Tuesday night and everything appeared fine.
