DURHAM -- A Durham woman was stabbed to death late Sunday night at Angier Avenue and South Miami Boulevard, according to police.
Amanda Mangum, 23, , of Miami Boulevard, was found around 10:30 p.m. near 1804 S. Miami Blvd. with multiple stab wounds, police said. She was transported to Duke University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Her three children, ages 2, 4 and 8, were believed to be with her husband, Kenya Domon Mangum, 29 of Miami Boulevard. An Amber Alert was issued for the children.
Durham police found Kenya Mangum and the children shortly before 5 a.m. in an apartment on Thames Avenue. Kenya Mangum was arrested and charged with murder.
The children were not injured.
