A man arrested in the killing of a 20-year-old Riverdale woman has confessed, Clayton County police said Friday.
Police on Thursday arrested Errol Alexis Moore Jr. He was booked into the Clayton County Jail on charges of murder, aggravated assault and concealing a death, Officer Otis Willis said.
On Friday, police said Moore, 19, confessed to killing Janell Crystal Aaron. He led authorities to the remains of her body, behind the Sherwood Cemetery, Willis said.
The body has been taken to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for an autopsy and to confirm that it is Aaron’s, police said. She was the mother of Moore’s 8-month-old child.
Aaron was last seen on July 15 in Riverdale, Willis said.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
