Sgt. Robert Goetz says after dropping the woman off, the victim stopped in a parking lot with his dog about 5 a.m. Monday near the Everett Mall. The woman heard gunfire and saw that he had been shot. She called 911.
The suspect who was seen walking away is believed to be 21-year-old Bud Michael Fraser of Marysville. He is described as wearing his hair in a Mohawk style. He had dated the barista.
