LITTLE ROCK – A man accused of stabbing his wife to death, then stabbing himself in an apparent suicide attempt is set to be released from the hospital Monday.
According to Lt. Terry Hastings with the Little Rock Police Department, Danny Robinson will be charged with first degree murder in connection with Saturday's stabbing death of his wife Barbara. Witnesses told police the pair got into an argument before the stabbing.
Police were called to the scene of a stabbing Saturday night near the corner of Wright Avenue and Bishop Street, where they found Barbara Robinson lying on the ground with stab wounds. She was taken to the hospital where she died later that evening.
Police later found Danny Robinson at an apartment complex at 2400 Riverfront Drive, also with stab wounds.
