ATLANTA (AP) - Police say a 40-year-old man killed his girlfriend in Texas, then fled to Atlanta and confessed to his estranged wife.
Michael Lucking was being held Sunday in the DeKalb County Jail as a fugitive from justice. WSB-TV reports that DeKalb County police arrested Lucking after his estranged wife called 911.
Investigators said Lucking shot and killed his 26-year-old girlfriend on Thursday.
It was unclear Sunday whether Lucking had a defense attorney.
