Associated Press February 11, 2011 01:18 PM (02-11) 13:18 PST San Francisco, CA (AP) --
Police are looking for a missing Southern California man whose wife was found dead inside a San Francisco motel room, several days after the couple was reported missing.
Lt. Lyn Tomioka says the body of 47-year-old Colleen Waterman was found by an employee of a Marina District motel Thursday afternoon.
Authorities plan an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Police have ruled Waterman's death suspicious and consider her husband, 51-year-old Billy Waterman, a person of interest. Authorities had found the couple's 1998 Chevrolet SUV earlier Thursday in nearby San Mateo County with no sign of either of them.
The couple had been reported missing in Riverside County on Monday after Colleen Waterman's daughter couldn't reach her by phone.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
