TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW) --Police have identified the two people found dead at the Pines Apartment Complex, which has been confirmed as a murder suicide.
They have been identified as 22-year-old Kahlyn Heine and 26-year-old Jeremiah Campbell, both of Topeka.
Authorities say Campbell was the shooter.
Topeka Police are still investigating the two deaths. Officers say they were called around 9:30 Saturday morning (9/8), to The Pines Apartments at 238 SW Gage Blvd., regarding vandalism.
Police say a woman had found a bullet hole in the wall of her apartment. Law enforcement officials on the scene were led to an adjacent apartment, where they found two individuals dead.
Officials say the couple was out with friends hour before the shootings.
