AUBURNDALE, Fla. -- A central Florida married couple was found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office reports that family members and a neighbor found the couple dead in their bedroom on Monday. They had been trying to reach 54-year-old Anthony Hill, who was celebrating his birthday that day.
Authorities say Hill had been shot in the back of the neck and in the side of the head. His wife, 48-year-old Mary Hill, was found next to him with a single gunshot wound to the head and a handgun in her right hand.
The Hills had been married since 1993. They ran a corndog-vending business that operated at carnivals
