A Greenville man and woman who were identified today died from gunshot wounds to the head about two days before their bodies were found in what authorities said was a murder-suicide.
James Beheler, 45, and Angela Carver, 40, both died from gunshot wounds to the head with Beheler’s described as self-inflicted, said Greenville County Deputy Coroner Scott Ramsey.
Their time of death was estimated as the morning of April 7, he said.
They both lived at 53 Arch St., where their bodies were found Saturday, Ramsey said. Their identities had not been previously released because they had to be confirmed through fingerprints, he said.
No charges are expected, said Greenville County sheriff’s Master Deputy Sam Cureton.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
