It began as a 9-1-1 call about a man having a heart attack at his home in Powell in McDonald County. When authorities arrived they found Gary Young had been stabbed to death.
Young's girlfriend, 58 year old Dawn Reynolds has been arrested and charged with second degree murder.
It's the second murder in McDonald County in two weeks. On February 20, deputies found the body of Jack McCain on a rural road, east of Jane. He had been shot to death.
