HAHIRA (WALB) - A Hahira man wanted in connection with his wife's murder was arrested Saturday afternoon in Waycross.
Lowndes County Sheriff Chris Prine tells us someone spotted William Pendleton in Ware County and called police.
He surrendered to officers without incident.
Pendleton was wanted for questioning in the death of his wife, 51-year-old Lynn Pendleton.
Her body was discovered Thursday buried in her back yard. She had been strangled.
Lowndes Sheriff's officials are in route to Waycross right now and plan to charge William Pendleton with murder.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
