TURNER, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Police say Brian Nichols shot his wife Jane Tetreault to death early Saturday morning in Turner.
The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Department responded to 911 call from 225 East Hebron Road around 3:30 AM Saturday. A state police spokesperson says Jane Tetreault, age 38 was found shot to death in her home. State police say her husband Brian Nichols, 45, was taken into custody a short timel ater.
The couple's 17 year old son was home at the time of the shooting. Another son was not home. Both are now with relatives.
An autopsy will be done on the body, Sunday.
