GRIFFIN, Ga. -- Police say a 48 year old Griffin man, Kenneth L. Baker, is armed, dangerous and on the run after opening fire on his wife and her daughter inside their home on Waterford Way Monday, killing them both.
"Mr. Baker and Ms. Baker were going through a divorce," said Griffin Police Lt. Tony Thomason, "and Mr. Baker, at some point, confronted Ms. Baker and his stepdaughter, and shot them both multiple times."
The victims: Lynnael Baker, 38, and Shaelinda Sanders, 19.
"We do believe he is armed with a 9mm handgun at this time, based on the evidence collected," Lt. Thomason said.
"He does have some past involvement with the police," Lt. Thomason said, but added that there had been no trouble calls to the house.
