A 19-year-old West Haven man who is accused of killing his girlfriend’s dog has been arrested.
Police said Kimar Fraser took his girlfriend’s dog to a remote wooded area on Nov. 28 and killed the pet.
West Haven’s community resource officer arrested Fraser on a warrant on Friday.
He was charged with disorderly conduct, Interfering with an emergency call, third-degree criminal trespass, illegal dumping and cruelty to animals.
He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
Fraser was sentenced to probation with special conditions in 2010 for interfering with a police officer and possession of a controlled substance, according to court records.
Police have not provided further information.
