PROVIDENCE, Ky. — A western Kentucky man has been charged with two counts of murder after allegedly shooting his ex-girlfriend and stabbing her male friend.
Kentucky State Police said 43-year-old Michael A. Musarra of Providence in Webster County called authorities to turn himself in late Monday and was arrested at his mother's home in Robards.
Musarra is accused of entering the woman's home, shooting her and stabbing the man.
Police said 43-year-old Erika L. Hutchason of Providence died at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Ind. The other victim, 39-year-old Anthony H. Culp of Clay, Ky., died at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
Musarra, who was also charged with first-degree burglary, was being held in the Webster County Detention Center on $1 million bond. The jail had no record of an attorney for him.
