JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - Jury selection is still underway this afternoon for an Onslow County man accused of strangling his wife and burying her in a shallow grave behind their home.
The first degree murder trial for 21-year-old Soyer Moll started Monday in Jacksonville.
Investigators say Moll led them to the location where his wife, 21-year-old Virginia Moll's body, was buried. She was killed two years ago.
An autopsy found a red cloth was still tightly wrapped around her neck when her body was found.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
